    Olive It! Recipe Book Giveaway

January has come and with it most likely a desire to eat more healthily after the excesses of Christmas. A Mediterranean diet based on fresh fruit, vegetables, olive oil and fish is a great way of eating, and the bright colours of Mediterranean foods help to brighten up the cold winter days.

Olive it! recipe book front cover[2]

If, like me, you love olives, then you will love this book. Olive it! is a European campaign celebrating table olives with recipes to inspire you and take you on a journey of discovery.  You can find out more at www.oliveit.eu and on Twitter @Oliveit_UK.

The book includes a history of olives, as well as over 40 recipes you can use to create quick and easy dishes with olives at home. The recipes include  marinades for olives, olive tapenades and olive-based tapas. I love the sound of the Indian-spiced olive and lentil dhal, a really interesting mix of flavours. Olives can also be used in salads, the olives with mango, melon and pomegranate is another dish I want to try.

Win one of 20 copies of the Olive it! Recipe Book

For your chance to win one of 20 copies of Olive it!, please enter the giveaway using the Rafflecopter widget below. Please read the full terms and conditions within Rafflecopter. UK only entries. Competitions opens 12 am on 4th January and closes at 12 am on 11th January 2016. Good luck!

I think that unpitted olives usually taste better… And I probably prefer green olives.
