Last year I was lucky enough to win a ticket to The Cake and Bake Show in London, in a competition on Twitter. I had a great day out at Earls Court, coming home laden with bags full of goodies. I also tried all kinds of lovely treats, from macarons to beautiful cupcakes to artisan breads.
Highlights from my visit were watching Eric Lanlard create a delicious pear tart, attending signings of the latest baking books, as well as seeing Rachel Koo and Richard Bertinet and GBBO stars like Joanne Wheatley and Edd Kimber baking.
This year The Cake and Bake Show is back, in four venues: Harrogate, London, Manchester and Edinburgh. It is the ideal show for keen bakers, and has the perfect mix of live demos, expert classes, market stands, competitions and more. Book before 30th March, and save £3 on tickets!
You will be able to see renowned baking stars, patisserie experts and the industry’s best cake decorators in action. Once again there will be demonstrations in the Cake & Bake Theatre, classroom sessions to take part in and book signings.
