Rub in spice mix
Make sure your turkey breast/crown is defrosted. Mix together oil, paprika, garlic, rosemary and seasoning in a bowl. Rub over the turkey. Put the turkey in slow cooker pot on two halved onions.
Cook on high for 5 hours for 2 kg / 4.5 pound turkey breast/crown. For 1 kg / 2 pound turkey, cook for 4 hours on high. For 3 kg / 6 pound turkey cook on high for 6 hours.
Glaze and garnish
Make the glaze by melting butter and mixing in paprika, salt and pepper. Glaze, transfer to a serving dish, garnish with orange slices and fresh green herbs then serve!
Serve with roast potatoes, slow cooker roast parsnips, slow cooker red cabbage, Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce and gravy for the perfect Christmas meal.
